About the event

From the Owl Eyes Wilderness Survival website:

"Wood carving is a meditative activity that you can do almost anywhere. Handmade spoons are usable forms of art that will last for years if carved well and taken care of. Using simple tools: a fixed blade knife, hook knife, saw, and sandpaper, you will be instructed on the techniques of selecting wood, safe carving techniques, and how to care for your new eating utensil."

Open to ages 10 and older. Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Snacks will be served. Registration required so we can prepare the space.
